Introduction

UOP GB-217 absorbent is a pharmaceutical agent that removes sulfur or sulfur -containing compounds in fuel, raw materials, or other materials; in the control or treatment of pollutants, it mainly refers to removing a potion that can remove sulfur oxides (inclu←ding SO2 and SO3) in exhaust gas. Various alkaline compounds can be used as desulfurization agents. Remove the desulfurization of sulfur dioxide in the flue exhaust gas, the most useful lime, lime and lime, and alkaline solution prepared by the lime drugs with lime drugs. Most of the desulfurization agents can absorb sulfur dioxide in flue gas without discharging air. It can be absorbed with lime water spray, or can be used to directly mix coal powder with solid lime powder or spray into the combustion furnace to fix the sulfide in the fuel residue. A solutions such as sodium carbonate and aluminum sulfate sulfate are often used as a desulfurization agent to treat sulfur dioxide, which can be used to treat sulfur dioxide.

GB-217 absorbent is used as a guard bed to remove sulphur species from gaseous hydrocarbon streams. It is especially effective removing H2S, COS and light mercap- tans from propylene, LPG and mixed C4 streams, even at low contaminant levels or low operating temperatures.
