Manufacturer Good Price Dibutyltin Dilaurate (DBTDL) CAS: 77-58-7

short description:

Dibutyltin Dilaurate is an organic tin additive, Dibutyltin Dilaurate is soluble in benzene, toluene, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate, chloroform, acetone, petroleum ether and other organic solvents and all industrial plasticizers, but insoluble in water. The high-boiling point multi-purpose organotin catalysts circulating on the market, Dibutyltin Dilaurate, are usually treated by special liquefaction. Dibutyltin Dilaurate are light yellow or colorless oily liquids at room temperature. , has excellent lubricity, transparency and weather resistance. Good resistance to sulfide pollution. Dibutyltin Dilaurate can be used as stabilizer in soft transparent products, as efficient lubricant in rigid transparent products, as catalyst for cross-linking reaction of acrylate rubber and carboxyl rubber, synthesis of polyurethane foam and polyester, and room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. catalyst.

Applications of DBTDL

1. Used as heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride, curing agent for silicone rubber, catalyst for polyurethane foam, etc.

2. Used as plastic stabilizer and rubber curing agent

3. It can be used as a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. It is the earliest type of organic tin stabilizer. The heat resistance is not as good as that of butyl tin maleate, but it has excellent lubricity, weather resistance and transparency. The agent has good compatibility, no frosting, no vulcanization pollution, and no adverse effect on heat sealing and printing. And because it is liquid at room temperature, its dispersibility in plastics is better than that of solid stabilizers. This product is mainly used for soft transparent products or semi-soft products, and the general dosage is 1-2%. It has a synergistic effect when used in combination with metal soaps such as cadmium stearate and barium stearate or epoxy compounds. In hard products, this product can be used as a lubricant, and used together with the organic tin maleic acid or thiol organic tin to improve the fluidity of the resin material. Compared with other organotins, this product has a greater initial coloring property, which will cause yellowing and discoloration. This product can also be used as a catalyst in the synthesis of polyurethane materials and a curing agent for silicone rubber. In order to improve the thermal stability, transparency, compatibility with resin, and improve its impact strength when used in hard products, many modified varieties have been developed. Generally, fatty acids such as lauric acid are added to the pure product, and some epoxy esters or other metal soap stabilizers are also added. This product is poisonous. Oral LD50 of rats is 175mg/kg.

4. Can be used as polyurethane catalyst.

5. For organic synthesis, as stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride resin.
